Employment Opportunity – Minster of Music

The ministry of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (MMBC) has an opening for a PART-TIME Minister of Music.  This position will be under the administrative guidance of the Pastor.

Qualifications:

1. Born again child of God
2. Very strong organ and piano skills
3. Ability to lead and teach multiple music styles to multiple ages
4. Available for regular weekly planned services and special services as needed

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, organize and grow the music ministry
2. Plan and direct weekly choir involvement in Worship Service
3. Communicate worship themes to the Pastor weekly
4. Lead and grow current and future musician involvement
5. Develop new music opportunities
6. Coordinate music for weddings, funerals, memorial services and special recognition
7. Meet leadership responsibilities as a member of MMBC
8. Other duties as assigned by Pastor
